Draw Play

http://www.gamegecko.com/drawplay.php

- Draw Play, similar to Line Rider but with more meaning as you have get the little man to the flag by drawing lines with your mouse. Draw Play uses the same style as Line Rider by keeping it simple, like the pencil on paper design.

- The user uses the mouse to draw thick black lines on the screen, the little man is then able to walk across these lines in order for him to reach the flag. The user can control the man using the arrow keys allowing him to jump and walk left and right. The man is able to fall off and screams which is funny, he cant jump far but the levels are easy enough for you to experiment with the lines.

- As the levels go on you are faced with several obstacles, the user has to start again once an obstacle is hit and there is never no game over so you can just keep on going. The music is very techno like, too fast for the actual pace of the game. No score is kept and you are not told how many levels there are so there is no real goal.

Bumper Craft

http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/358547

- Newgrounds is a site in which people from 'anywhere can post anything' The pages look crowded and messy but thats only because there really is a lot of stuff to do. From animations, audio clips, forums and games there is a lot to keep you busy. I played a few games and although there are different categories, the games all seem alike and of the same theme: action, adventure, fighting, gunplay and shooters!

- I found Bumper Craft which was submitted that day. At the first page you are asked to enter your name which i liked, i didnt see it appear anywhere which only made me want to complete the levels to see what happened. On the games main page there is space for users to write comments and opinions on what they think of the game. This is also really good as these games are submitted by everyday people and it would be important to get feedback.

- This game is very well organised i cant think of anything how it could have been improved. 'The hovercraft' bounces off the walls when bumped into which was a nice change from just blowing up like what is usually done. The object is to reach the whirl pool! The music is good and you get a rather surprising bang when you are hit for the 1st time, especially if your speakers are turned up!

- The game includes many obstacles including the shark type things, these massive blobs which decrease in size when you shoot using the space bar (you also regain health on this level which was needed), spikes which rise from the ground etc. Your health is represented in percentage and your score depends on health and how quickly you complete the levels. You are reminded of your score each time you complete a level as the game stops and waits for you to be ready.

- There are 30 levels but i could only reach level 7 because i was scared of the flying arrows! I really like this game but dont have the patience to complete the whole thing as the levels do get harder. It is well designed, looks good and easy enough for you to want to carry on but hard enough for it to be a challenge.

Line Rider

http://www.linerider.org/play.php

- Line Rider front page, looks good by keeping it simple and keeping it within the theme of the game.

- The user is instructed to draw a line from top left to bottom right. Once pressed 'done' the rider rides along the line that the user drew.

- I really like this game, the fact the user has to think about the lines and how steep to draw them makes the game more fun. The rider easily falls and gains speed in places where the lines are drawn straight and downwards.

Neave

http://www.neave.com/

- Welcome to the playground of one Mr Paul Neave, serial Flash fettler and interactive designer. Paul says hello. Hello! < lol

- Audio/Visual tells you to play music and then allowing the flash player to access the microphone you then watch the shapes move with the music and reacting to the volume. This screen shot shows quiet music.

- This one shows loud music! Clicking the screen changes the shapes and the colours change automatically.

- My favourite part of Neave is Imagination. Paul writes that he forgot to do some so for us to show him ours and moving the mouse then creates and drawing tool which the user can make a new look for the screen. The markings change colour and thickness then slowly disappear.

Sissy Fight

http://www.sissyfight.com/

- SissyFight is a game/chat room were users play as school girls fighting strategically on a play ground.

- The user can choose the name, face and hair style for their fighter and use it to earn points fighting on the playground. With options like: scratch, tease and cower sissy fight gives several options to keep the user entertained.

- Users use the chat room part of the game to make friends and gang up on others in order to have a bigger chance in winning. The site is full of regulars. Teams are formed and things get very competitive which makes it harder for new members.

- I really liked playing sissyfight but it does take time to actually get in a fight, most people want to wait for the room to get ful in order to earn more points by beating up more people. Leader boards such as 'most points' and 'most addicted' keep people going back and making their fighter earn more points.

Orisinal

http://www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/

- Front page includes the small squares which represent a game. No other way of telling the games apart other than that square which i like. Uses nice, soft colours all the same shade.

- Bugs! I love this game! The user has to hold down the mouse to create a bubble, the longer you hold, the bigger the bubble.

- When the user lets go the little girl jumps and the bubble bursts around her making whatever ladybugs in that area fly away.

- Fire Dragon! Front page again uses simple colours, doesnt crowd any text or images making the user want to play the game. Really good game simply because it is nice to look at. The user has to do more than one task which makes the game more interesting.

- The user controls the dragon using the mouse to make him walk left and right, clicking the mouse makes the dragon fire, fire balls to hit the ice filled with apples. The user has to then collect the apples while the floor is rising making it harder to fire at the ice cubes.

Pong 4D

http://www.yomgaille.com/pong/

- Pong 4D front screen.

- Choice of 4 players, each user gets givin 2 letters on the keyboard to control their bar.

- Fast paced so keeps the user interested. Keeps score on how many times you hit the ball and how many times you miss.
